  • Except specifically stated, a typical statement of purpose should be two pages long, with a font size of 12 points and usual margins. As a result, a typical SOP will be 800 to 1000 words long, depending on the font style.
  • No use of colored text or pictures should be made anywhere. Simple black should be used for the text.
  • There are several templates to refer to when one is creating a Statement of Purpose. However, when it comes to paragraphs, a Statement of Purpose should ideally consist of 5-7 paragraphs, each of which should be between 150 and 250 words long.
